Families & Community
Here in Plymouth, we feel it is important to set partnerships connecting our schools, the families of students, and the surrounding community. It is only through these partnerships that we can have an integrated focus on academics, youth development, family support, health and social services, and community development. By strengthening these partnerships we can best align school and community resources in order to produce successful students, strong families, and engaged communities.
The Plymouth Public Schools believes in the basic principles of collective impact: a commitment to partnerships, accountability for results, respect for diversity, belief in community strengths, and high expectations for all. Collective impact is created when we realize that we can accomplish more by working together and sharing resources than by working alone.
