"WE'RE BUILDING A BETTER WORLD ONE STUDENT AT A TIME!"
October 24, 2016 - Week 1 - Day 6
Dental professionals are scheduled to visit PSMS and provide preventative care services tomorrow. Any student is eligible to receive these free services regardless of insurance or current dental care status. Forms have been sent home. If you need more information, please contact the main office.
If you’ve been holding on to Box Tops all summer, now is the time to send them in! Box Tops are due no later than this Wednesday. All bagged Box Tops should be put in the collection box in the school’s front entrance by the receptionist’s window. This is the first major Box Tops collection for the school year. Thank you for your support.
Picture Retake day is scheduled for this Friday. Any student who was absent on picture day, began attending PSMS after September 15th, or who wants a retake of their portrait, can have their picture taken that day. If a student wants a retake, they must turn in their original photo package. Class pictures for Grades 5 and 6 will also be taken.
The PTA will be sponsoring the annual PSMS Halloween Hoopla this Friday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Join us for a fabulous night of spooky fun including - Rocking DJ, Sweet Treats, Photo Booth, Best Costume Contest, and Pumpkin Carving Contest! Contact Jayce Hall at 508-685-5864 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Forms with payment need to be returned to school by Wednesday. Cost is $5 per person.
The PSMS Student Council will be sponsoring a Dress-up for a Cause Day next Monday, October 31st. Students who would like to contribute $1 or a canned good will be allowed to wear a costume to school that day. Please note that, in addition to other school dress code expectations, costumes may not include masks, fake blood, or weapons of any kind. Also, in light of recent media hype, no clown costumes will be allowed. Students who wear outfits that violate these guidelines will be asked to change and may be excluded from school activities.
Yearbooks are $25. Click on the link below to order yours today!

Visitor Security Procedures
Plymouth Public Schools has implemented a new security software system. All visitors to Plymouth South Middle School must present a state issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or other photo ID, at the Security Receptionist Booth prior to admission to any part of the building. This identification will be scanned and upon approval you will be issued a visitor's badge. This scanning process only takes a moment and only has to be done the first time you visit the building. Once you are in the system, all you have to do is present your name to the receptionist and we will be able to print you a visitor's badge.
Please remember to bring your photo ID with you when you visit the building. We appreciate your cooperation with this new system.
