Invention Project Summer 2021

  • Summer Science Camp

Check out our new offering for students entering Grades 6 - 9 -- INVENTION PROJECT!

From July 12-19, INVENTION PROJECT will be held.

    • Location: Plymouth South Middle School, 488 Long Pond Road, Plymouth, MA
    • Time: From 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. daily.
    • Open to: Students entering Grades 6 through 9.

Program participants will explore circuitry, energy, bioengineering and economics through hands-on projects as they design high-tech prototypes that solve real-world issues.  Participants will develop an effective business model, build their brand, pitch their plan to investors and take their invention to market!

Although the business deals are simulated, the skills, friendships and fun are real.  It all takes place in an environment that inspires and supports individuality.

When Invention Project comes to an end, innovators won't have a patent, but they will have the skills and confidence to make anything possible in the future.

Check out this link -- invent.org/invention-project
    for a more detailed description.

The total cost of the program is $195 per participant.

MASK UPDATE FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS: Masking indoors and maintaining other health and safety guidance is not required, but is encouraged. The DESE summer guidance is in alignment with state guidance encouraging unvaccinated individuals to continue to mask. The DPH mask advisory advises unvaccinated residents to continue wearing masks in indoor settings and when they can’t socially distance.
