At-Home Testing Opt-in / Opt-out Form
At the Plymouth Public Schools, keeping your students safe and in school is our top priority. In accordance with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Department of Public Health (DPH), our district is updating our COVID-19 Testing Program, effective the week of January 31st. We are opting in to an at-home testing program that will increase testing of our participating students and staff, regardless of vaccination status. For more information about this update to the statewide testing program, please click here.
The at-home testing option will begin during the week of January 31st, so long as we receive our allotted test kits from the state. In addition to this new at-home antigen test option, we will continue with symptomatic testing during the week. If your child is experiencing symptoms at home, please contact your school health office for guidance.
As part of this shift in the program, we are discontinuing Test and Stay and contact tracing for in-school close contacts. This means that if your child is a potential contact in school, they may continue to come to school and do not have to quarantine. This new at-home testing opportunity is voluntary and only those who opt-in will receive tests. We strongly encourage you to fill out the form by Thursday, January 27th to opt-in. If you have questions, please contact your school’s nurse.

Health Services initiated a new process for completing consent forms to have your child participate in our Test and Stay Program which will involve completing a consent form HERE.
We will no longer accept consents via the previously emailed Google links or paper. Please contact your child’s school nurse’s office if you have any questions.
PPS COVID-19 Dashboard
The Plymouth Public Schools is committed to transparency as it communicates information pertaining to COVID-19. This dashboard is a source of information for members of our community to remain updated on the most accurate COVID-19 data related to our District.
The data reported below has been confirmed by the State through the Department of Public Health’s MAVEN online information system. In addition; we immediately update our school communities when a positive case has been reported via a letter to individual school stakeholders. Please note, there may be time between the letters sent and the State's reporting of PPS cases in MAVEN.
The dashboard will be updated weekly by 4 PM on Wednesdays. We hope this page is useful to the entire Plymouth community for providing important, up-to-date information about the COVID-19.
