Plymouth North High School Success at DECA International Career Development Conference

Plymouth North High School’s DECA Program brought 14 student competitors to the DECA International Career Development Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia from April 22-27. There were over 17,000 DECA members in attendance at ICDC. Twelve PNHS students competed in a variety of role-play events on topics ranging from entrepreneurship to hotel and lodging management and marketing for various industries. We also had a team present their Zen Zone Stress Management Project in the area of Community Awareness.

Seeger Creane and Liam Husband won second place in their Sports and Entertainment Team Decision Making event. Katherine Donohoe and Gabriella Lopes were top 20 finalists in their Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making event. These are both major accomplishments as they competed against the top teams from all over the world.

  • Joshua Lin, Class of 2025, Principles of Marketing

While in Atlanta, the group visited Six Flags Over Georgia, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame. All ceremonies were held at the Mercedes Benz Stadium.
