Unfortunately, many roads are not passable and much of the town is still without power. In addition, we have not been able to access many of our buildings to ensure their integrity. Therefore, there will be no school for all Plymouth Public Schools on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Stay safe and warm! ❄️

Due to widespread power outages and the ongoing impact of the severe blizzard conditions, Plymouth Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 24th.

The school department continues to work in close coordination with Plymouth Police, Fire, and Public Works departments, as well as local emergency management officials. Our primary focus remains the safety of our students and staff as the community works to restore power and clear roadways safely.

Please continue to monitor official Town communications and the Town of Plymouth social media channels for the latest safety guidance and restoration updates.

Please note that the School Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, 2/23 is canceled and will be postponed to Monday, March 2nd.

Due to the strong probability of significant snowfall, possible flooding, and blizzard-like conditions associated with the approaching nor’easter, Plymouth Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 23rd.

The school department is actively working in coordination with the Plymouth Police Department, Plymouth Fire Department, Plymouth Department of Public Works, and local emergency management officials to prepare for this anticipated snow emergency and to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community.

Given the high confidence in this forecasted weather event, we are making this decision now to allow families and staff ample time to prepare.

Due to significant snowfall, drifting, and ongoing snow removal challenges across the district, including roads, bus stops, parking lots, and transportation facilities, Plymouth Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27th.

With limited staffing and crews who have been working for over 24 hours, a delay would not allow enough time to address safety concerns properly. Student and staff safety remains our top priority.
