Happy Power-Down Friday, Plymouth Public Schools! 🎒❄️
Today is Friday, February 13th, and while we are all buzzing with excitement for the start of February Break, it’s the perfect time for our most impactful Power Down yet. Since our buildings will be quiet for a full week, the energy we save now really adds up!
Before you head out to enjoy your well-deserved time off, please take a few minutes to help us "put the schools to sleep":
📋 Your Pre-Break Checklist:
- Complete Shutdown: Ensure all computers, monitors, and projectors are fully powered off, not just in "sleep mode."
- Seal the Warmth: Check that every single window is locked and classroom doors are shut tight to keep the heat inside where it belongs.
- Last One Out: If you’re the last one leaving the room, make sure those lights are OFF. 💡🚫
🔋 Recharge Together: The theme of this break is RECHARGE. While you are busy resting and relaxing, our schools will be doing the same. By powering down today, we are ensuring that we return to a more sustainable and efficient district.
