A message from PSHS Principal Fry:

For those of us who were alive on September 11, 2001, it is a day that we will never forget and guarantee everyone remembers exactly where they were at 8:46am when the first plane hit the tower.

It is hard to believe that none of our students were even born. However, they have learned about this incredible tragedy in classes and family conversations over the years. Many of us have family and friends still affected by this awful event to this day.

It is hard to believe that it has been 25 years since this tragic event. While it was one of the worst days in American History, it is one where we witnessed incredible bravery, unity, and so much more in the days following September 11th.

A wife of one of the pilots from that tragic day shard a quote that is more important now than ever:
“If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is too short and there is no time for hate.”

Today, we need to remember these words… While the years have passed, and time does move on… we will still never forget!
