Hello Families!
We are looking forward to seeing you at our Ice Cream Social this afternoon. Please see the flyer below for more details. We have received some questions about whether we will have the building so families can visit classes. Unfortunately the building will not be open this year, our floors are being waxed as we speak. We will be ready for day 1 but we are a little behind, and for a good reason! We have not had water all summer because we have had an entirely new well and water filtration system installed. We are very happy to announce that the system was officially brought online yesterday! With that said, the lack of water has slowed down the process of stripping and waxing the floors so we are unable to open the building tonight.
I know this means some of you might be anxious that the kids won't know where to go on day 1 but I would like to assure you that we have a plan to make sure the kids get to their class on day 1. Please know that my goal and plan for next year is for each child to have an opportunity to practice finding their class before the year starts but this year it will not be possible.
Please reach out with any questions and I appreciate your understanding.
See you this afternoon!
-Derek Thompson

PPS Families: Once bus routes are complete, keep an eye out for an email regarding your student’s bus assignment. If your child is not riding the bus, has not paid (if required to pay), or if your child is taking specialized transportation, a bus schedule will not be listed.
